Hello, my name is Wendy Jama, President of Childbirth Education Classes and Products, Inc. (CECP). I have been a practicing Licensed Registered Nurse since 1985. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN). I am a Certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Breast Feeding Counselor. I specialize in providing health education in preparation for childbirth, performing pediatric assessments, and teaching newborn care and parenting. My professional nursing experience encompasses working in acute care hospitals and the community public health system in the field of Women's Health, Pediatrics and Adolescent Health. I have also worked as a nursing instructor, nurse case manager and nurse health educator. I have joyfully taught hundreds of expectant parents Prepared Childbirth over the past 12 years. Participants include couples and single expectant parents, teenagers, soon-to-be adoptive parents with their surrogate moms, deaf and hearing impaired expectant parents. I am a professional member of the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) and The American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA).
